IRS Tax Withholding Estimator
Use the IRS Tax Withholding Estimator to update the amount of tax you have deducted from your 2024 pay. This online tool, which is available in English and Spanish, can help people adjust how much is withheld and could put more cash in their pocket or help them avoid a tax bill. This news release is also available in Spanish and Simplified Chinese. Most importantly, after you have requested a withholding change, check your paystub to make sure that what is being withheld, is what you asked for.
