Michele Kellison, CPA, CFP™Michele has over 30 years of experience helping individuals and businesses structure their tax situation to minimize taxes paid to Federal and State governments. She is known for her extensive tax law knowledge and her ability to merge different elements of the law to reach the optimum result for her clients. Michele spent over ten years teaching tax and accounting at Oregon State University. Her ability to present complicated ideas in an understandable manner made her both a sought-out teacher at OSU and a tax advisor for her clients. She enjoys working with her clients' additional financial and legal advisors in a team approach to achieve the best results together. In addition to working with individuals and businesses, Michele has substantial experience in Trust and Estate Taxation.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Accounting (with Distinction) and graduating with a Master of Science in Taxation from Colorado State University, Michele began her career with the Denver tax office of Touche Ross (now Deloitte). She later moved to KPMG in Seattle and took a position as tax manager in their tax department. In 1990, Michele made the decision to leave the world of 'Big Four' accounting and relocated to Corvallis, Oregon, to open her own firm, Michele Kellison, P.C. In 2006, she and Richard Hendrick (now retired) merged their practices and became Hendrick & Kellison, LLC. Today, Michele leads Hendrick and Kellison, LLC., finding satisfaction in assisting clients with unique tax challenges, as well as those who value top quality tax advice with a high level of customer service. Michele serves as the Secretary of the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis and the secretary for the Rotary Club of Greater Corvallis. She is also involved with the Rotary International District 5110 and the Rotary Youth Exchange program. Outside of work, Michele enjoys reading, gardening, cycling, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her daughter, Hailey. |
Kyle Levine, EA, LTCKyle hails from Portland, Oregon and brings with him over ten years of tax preparation experience. He grew up there, obtained his Bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, decided he liked the rain better than the snow and returned to Oregon.
Kyle is credentialed by the IRS as an Enrolled Agent and provides representation, tax preparation, and consulting services. He is especially knowledgeable in small businesses, investment income (including employee stocks), multi-state returns, and foreign income and asset reporting. Kyle is a believer in lifelong learning and has made forays over the years into everything from microelectronics to cooking. But what he likes best is helping clients maximize their tax savings. Any day he can leverage the tax law to benefit a client is a good day in his books. |
Kristal MorvayKristal grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and has lived in San Diego, California, and Newport, Vermont, before finally settling with her family in the Willamette Valley area of Oregon. Before joining our team in 2019, Kristal helped her husband, Seth, manage the accounting and scheduling for their landscape contracting business.
Kristal holds Associate degrees from Linn Benton Community College in Accounting Technology and Business Administration. In 2016, she graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. While attending OSU, Kristal worked in the accounting office at the OSU Veterinary College and Lois Bates Acheson Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Outside of work, Kristal enjoys visiting the Oregon coast and spending time with her husband, Seth; daughter, Alice; and twin sons, Drake and Dylan. |
Caitlin YeeCaitlin grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon and relocated to Corvallis in 2013. She graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has ten years of tax preparation experience. Prior to working in tax, she worked in commercial lending.
Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys reading, hiking, paddleboarding, lifting weights, and spending time with her daughter, Elizabeth, and their dog, Carlos. |
Sarah Howey, LTPSarah grew up in Alsea, Oregon, and graduated from Alsea High School. After graduation, Sarah and her husband lived in Guam while he was stationed there with the Navy. Their Navy career also took them to California, where Sarah worked as an office manager in various small businesses. During this time, she gained a strong understanding of the special needs of local businesses. In 2007, Sarah began working at Hendrick & Kellison, LLC. as an office manager. In 2009, she obtained her Oregon Licensed Tax Preparer designation, and she continues to maintain this license, allowing her to properly assist many of our clients with their tax questions.
Sarah lives in Philomath with her husband, Will, and daughter, Shelby. When she is not working, she enjoys camping with her family and friends and is often seen cheering Shelby on at her equestrian events. |
Ariane Olsen, LTPAriane grew up in Corvallis, Oregon, and currently lives with her family in Philomath, Oregon. Prior to joining Hendrick & Kellison, LLC. in 2006, she spent ten years in the catering business, where she successfully learned to work in a fast-paced environment. After leaving the food service industry, Ariane assumed a position at Willamette Internal Medicine's Corvallis office. where she handled everything from customer service to scheduling and billing. When their office closed, she began working as an office manager here. Ariane excels in managing our fast-paced front office. She also serves as one of our payroll specialists and, in 2009, she obtained her Oregon Licensed Tax Preparer designation.

Lauren BarlowLauren was born and raised in the Corvallis area. She joined the Hendrick & Kellison team after graduating high school in 2020. She is currently a student at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. Lauren plans to graduate in 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a minor in Spanish.
