Tax Professional – At Hendrick & Kellison, LLC., we provide more than just a tax return to our clients. We use a holistic approach, and our tax professionals go a step beyond preparing the return. We provide our clients with tax planning throughout the year. We are looking for an experienced tax return professional for our Corvallis Oregon CPA office. This position could be filled by either a seasonal or year-round tax preparer with pay between $20 and $50 per hour, depending on experience and work product. While we prefer to see you in our office, this position could be structured as a remote position. We desire that you have at least one of the following designations: CPA, EA, LTC or LTP. We also encourage you to continue your professional development and will assist you obtaining the above designations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Identify tax saving opportunities for clients to implement
- Prepare estate and trust tax returns [will train]
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience preparing individual tax returns
- Be a self-motivator with the drive to see a project through to the end
- Have the ability to identify tax issues and find solutions
- Have excellent work paper organization and referencing skills
- Be organized and have the ability to work with an attention to detail
- Be ethical and practice confidentiality with client information
- Have the ability to take feedback and learn and grow professionally from it
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, TicTie Calculate and Ultra Tax is a plus, but is not required
- Team player with a positive attitude is a must
